After teasing social media with verses from hip-hop’s hottest newcomers, Lola Brooke and Lady London, Ciara drops the official Girls Mix version of “Da Girls” on all platforms. Not only did the ladies put their own twist on the song they linked up with Ciara for a fun, carefree, day-in-the-life video directed by VMA-nominated, Sara Lacombe.
The female-empowerment track, produced by Derrick Milano, OG Parker, Romano, tenroc and Mike Woods, reached fever-pitch after several teases of the song stirred up online buzz and excitement. The fiery verses and undeniable flows from Lola Brooke and Lady London further emphasized the songs mantras of self-love affirmations, and independence.
“Lola and Lady London are special,” said Ciara. “They each bring a unique star quality to everything they do. From the tone of their voices to the fire verses, they spoke life into this record for all da girls around the world.”
