Ludacris recently made an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, where he shared his inspiration for the freestyles he’s been posting to Instagram as of late. He revealed, “When I was young, I feel like some of my favorite rappers, once they get to a certain point, it’s almost like you wish that they were still kind of hungry.” He added, “You feel like they don’t have it necessarily like they used to.” “I never wanted to be that,” the rapper claims. “So it’s extremely important for me to prove to people that even though I’m doing all this other stuff.” He went to say, “Make no mistake, I still got it and I’m still as hungry.”
Later on in the interview, the rapper discussed releasing new music in the near future. He said, “We’re definitely gonna get some music before the end of this year.” Adding, “I would say an album, probably next year.” Ludacris also refers to his appearance in the upcoming Fast & Furious film, Fast X. “They keep shooting more movies. What am I supposed to do?” he shared.

At the film’s trailer premiere in February, Ludacris shared how grateful he was to be included in the film. “I’m just so appreciative to be a part of this franchise,” the rapper explained. He revealed how lucky he feels “to be in music and to make history there and now to make history in the movies.” Ludacris said he feels “like [he’s] the luckiest man on Earth” to “satisfy the curiosity in both worlds.”
