Williams scored the role of Viola Van Horn: “a mysterious woman with a secret that’s to die for.” The musical is based on the 1992 film starring Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn. The play premiered on Nov. 21 at the New York City’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. In the audience, Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland could be spotted supporting their DC sister.

To commemorate the occasion, Beyoncé posted a carousel of photos of the opening night. The photos included her posing with Kelly and Michelle backstage, seemingly after the play. The photos also included her mother, Tina Knowles, smiling alongside 2/3 of DC3.

To further prove her love for her best friends, Bey set the carousel to her hit song, “II Most Wanted,” which perfectly describes the bond between the former bandmates. Williams showed her appreciation in the comments on the Instagram post.

“I try not to cry too early in the day BUT……. My sisters 4ever! 🤍💫,” she wrote.

According to Page Six, the Broadway actress was set to join her friends at the rally. However, one of her castmates fell sick, so she had to preserve her health. Additionally, previews for the musical were concurrent with the rally.

Even though we may never get the reunion tour or album, the three singers were reportedly musically reunited in January. The trio sang Happy Birthday to Rowland’s husband, Tim Witherspoon, who turned 50 at the top of the year.

As BOSSIP reported, the “Cowboy Carter” singer is set to perform during the Texans vs. Ravens halftime show on Christmas Day. If this performance is anything like her 2013 Super Bowl halftime show, fans can expect the girl group to reunite again.
