B-Loc isn’t sky to the mainstream life as he’s been around the industry for years developing his name in the music industry. B-Loc sticks out in his state, Minnesota, for his growth and development in the music industry over the last couple of years with features from Mitchy Slick, J Diggs and more that haven’t gone unnoticed. Marvin “B – Loc”, was born and raised in St. Paul, MN. Music has always been a passion and an outlet for him. His hobbies include providing for his family, and creating music that speaks volumes. B – Loc has been creating music and performing since the early 2000s. He started out as a part of the group Cut Throat Boyz. With the loss of a few members, they changed their name to Money Mob. B – Loc feels that music is a way for him to vent and express himself. He hopes his music will inspire others and reach audiences across the globe.

1. Tell us about your background getting to where you are at today?

It went from investing in others’ music careers to investing in myself. Been grinding for over
10 years, in and out of prison with minor local success along the way.

Saint Paul born and raised

3. When did you start music?

I can’t give you an exact year, but it was the early 2000s.

4. How did you get into music?

My homie Baby Brownie asked me to help him, and his group put out their album. Investing
In them made me want to do it for myself.

What is the most challenging thing you have overcome in your life?

Staying out of prison. Making it to the age I am now with the life I’ve lived. Being free, not
On somebody’s RIP chain, or t-shirt.

5. Do you have any current projects or sing out. If yes, tell us more?

Yes, I released my album Broke Hobbies volume 1, and a few singles IG lover w/ Tangy, and The Game Don’t Love You with Mitchy Slick.

6. Who inspires you the most musically?

Besides the people around me, Mitchy Slick, C-Bo, Juice, and Marvelous, these are all artists.
That I grew up listening to. Now they are artists that I have built relationships with who I can

7. What do you want people to take away after listening to your music?

Music doesn’t have an age limit or timeline. My music is so more geared towards the 35.
Crowd, the message is to leave them with the music they were missing from back in the day.
I also want to leave the younger crowd with the message that us old heads have been
Through what they had been through, and we still got something to say.

8. What is your greatest achievement as a musician?

Building relationships with the people that I grew up listening to. Being able to book them for shows and put money back in their pockets.

9. Who is one artist you wish you could work with and why?

I would love to work with Tech Nine, because he is the biggest underground artist ever.
Do it. He did it his own way, and in his time he signed one of my favorite artists.

10. Tell us about any new music you have coming or projects?

Currently, I’m working on a mixtape w/ Peter Parker, my next album, Broke Hobbies Vol 2.
With features from Mitchy Slick, Marvelous, Juice, and Glasses Malone, Gunzo Music, HC theChemist and Lefty Capone. I also have the Feddy and B-Loc mixtape Big 9’s Little u’s. Lastly, I am about to start a podcast.
