“I wrote this song during a sleepless summer night when life felt grey and dull. The morning after, a friend and I decided to head down to the ocean. Sitting by the water with the sun in my face, I finally felt myself relax. But the calm didn’t last very long – out of nowhere, the sky erupted into a storm and the rain came crashing down..
Ironically, it made my day. I couldn’t stop smiling as we ran back to the car, drenched from head to toe. As someone who’s always on the lookout for signs from the universe, this felt like a clear one: This song was meant to exist.”
