The Drake era is unstoppable at this point. The rapper released a two song EP Scary Hours last Friday containing the tracks ‘God’s Plan’ and ‘Diplomatic Immunity’. The former was the more radio friendly one which became an instant fan favorite.
Since the release, ‘God’s Plan’ has dominated both the worldwide and U.S. charts on Apple Music and Spotify. The song was also released as an official single by Drizzy and his labels, after seeing the huge response on radio and elsewhere. And as projected, ‘God’s Plan’ has debuted straight at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, becoming his second topper as a lead artist after ‘One Dance’ in 2016.
‘God’s Plan’ by @Drake has a +1600 bullet on Urban radio & almost +2000 bullet on Rhythmic. That is insane.
Also, still #1 on both Apple Music & Spotify (U.S. + Worldwide).
This is on course to be one of his biggest singles to date.

The Young Exclusive, Boi-1da & Cardo produced track is Drake’s fourth number 1 overall, the other two being Rihanna’s ‘What’s My Name’ and ‘Work’. The other song ‘Diplomatic Immunity’ also enters at number 7 on the chart. He’s a set a number of records too — one of them being beating Jay-Z to become the rapper with the most top 10s on Hot 100. Big congrats to the superstar.
