Harlem Drill Rapper E Dot Baby passes away, as many close friends of the Sugar Hill native have confirmed the unfortunate situation. In some unfortunate news, buzzing New York City drill rapper Edot Baby has sadly passed away. The information emerged late Thursday evening, as the 17-year-old native of the Sugar Hill section of Harlem died from a self-inflicted shot to the head.
Edot was transported to a nearby hospital in Harlem, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The Harlem rapper is known for being one of the forefathers of drill rap in Harlem, when Brooklyn first took over the city in the late 2010s.
During 2020, he was 15 and the center of all things with drill rap in Uptown to open doors for B-Lovee, Kay Flock, Ice Spice and even DD Osama before his Drake co-sign. In the weeks leading up to this one, Edot had just inked a deal with a major label, moved out of the hood, and was planning to drop music with the machine behind him.
Take a look at some of his popular music below.
