Jhene Aiko Celebrates 10 Years Of “Souled Out” With Reissue Featuring Unreleased Songs

Jhene Aiko has shared a new version of her debut studio album, Souled Out, featuring two unreleased songs, “You vs. Them (Acoustic)” and “Beautiful Ruin.” When she first dropped the project, it debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200, selling 70,000 copies. The tracklist features the singles “To Love & Die,” “The Pressure,” and “Spotless Mind.” She collaborated on songs with Cocaine 80s, Common, and more. The track, “Promises,” features her daughter, Namiko. Across the album, Aiko sings about relationships and life lessons while transforming a perspective on heartbreak.

Outside of music, Aiko has been making headlines for her relationship with Big Sean. Appearing on the podcast, Out of Context, last month, Sean explained why the two, who have been dating for years, aren’t ready for marriage just yet. “But just like to be real with you, just like any people who have dealt with love, we’ve had our ups and downs, you know what I’m saying?” he said at the time. “And I think it’s still finding the right navigation through it all.” The two are also reportedly preparing to work on another TWENTY88 collaborative album.
