Megan Thee Stallion and Reneé Rapp have joined forces for a new collaboration called ‘Not My Fault’.
The song was announced earlier this week by the two artists along with a cover art and release date. “It’s Megan Thee Stallion, aka the Black Regina George, and I’m excited to introduce my girl to the stage,” Megan said in a clip to announce the song, dressed in all-pink. “We have a new song coming out for Mean Girls. That’s right, give it up for the new fantastic plastic, Renee Rapp.”
The song, lifted from the upcoming soundtrack to the film Mean Girls, is now out in select international markets — listen below.
In the upcoming Mean Girls movie, which is a live-action remake of the Broadway musical based on Tina Fey’s 2004 film of the same name, Rapp plays Regina George. Fey will play Ms. Norbury once more, with Chris Briney, Avantika, Bebe Wood, Angourie Rice, Auliʁi Cravalho, and Jaquel Spivey rounding out the core cast.
