R-Mean is one of the most impressive independent artists in the game. Overall, the Armenian American rapper is someone who knows how to network. Of course, this has been made obvious by his collaborations with some of the biggest artists in the entire world. For instance, a few weeks ago, he dropped “Candle Of The Devil” with Nas. The track was produced by Scott Storch, one of the biggest producers ever. Now, R-Mean has arrived with a new album called MEAN which is entirely produced by Storch.
Additionally, this album is filled to the brim with features. Perhaps one of the best, however, comes on the song “YESSIR,” which features the likes of Quavo. “YESSIR” is the 10th song on the album, and it is yet another example of R-Mean and his range. Moreover, it also shows that Quavo is incredible when it comes to writing hooks. Immediately upon listening to the track, you will be wondering why Quavo hasn’t done more songs with Scott Storch’s production.
R-Mean & Quavo Get It Popping
R-Mean also dropped a music video to go along with the song. Overall, it is a strong visual as he and Quavo are seen on a set made to replicate a beach volleyball scene. They are both surrounded by gorgeous women, and you can tell they are living lavishly. Quavo begins the track with a melodic hook that eventually transitions into R-Mean’s verse. The MEAN rapper slides on this track and provides an immaculate vibe. There is no doubt this track has summer anthem potential.
As for the rest of his new album, there are plenty of amazing new tracks to check out. With features from Jeremih, Offset, YG, French Montana, and more, you cannot go wrong with his latest effort. Hopefully, we get to here more from R-Mean in the not-so-distant future. Let us know your thoughts on this song, in the comments section down below. Living like a boss, yessir
Chrome Heart denim that’s a cross, yessir
